A lovely classic Venetian crystal ceiling lantern, entirely handmade, with a steel wire frame, and an shiny corrosion-resistant fitting.

The hot blown glass is stamped with a special baloton mould by the glass-master to create a raised criss-cross pattern. This is a very typical Murano glass-making design which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. It's still very popular today.
